What sets you apart from other Colorado Springs roofing companies?

Our commitment to education and training sets us apart. Our certifications and training exceed what is expected in the industry. We have project managers who are former insurance adjusters and certified by HAAG Engineering. Our project managers and installers are certified yearly by Certainteed as Master Shingle Installers and because of our business practices and commitment to continued training and excellence, Integrity Roofing and Painting, LLC has earned the elite Select ShingleMaster title earned by only 2% of roofing companies. Our project managers participate in training courses offered through the Colorado Roofing Association. We have conducted site visits at CertainTeed and Owens Corning plants to see the production process and receive firsthand information on each brand of shingle.

Are you a LOCAL Roofing Company?

Yes, we are a local roofing company. We are active members of our local community and focus on the needs of our Colorado neighbors in Colorado Springs, Denver, Monument and the entire Front Range area. Many of our team members are active or former military and understand the dynamic of having a strong military presence in our city. We are proud to be a local company.

Should I upgrade to Class 4 Hail Impact Resistant shingles?

Many insurance companies offer premium discounts for having a Class 4 roof. There are many options for shingles that qualify for this discount. There are a few things to keep in mind about hail impact resistant roofs. They are tested to be hail resistant, not hail proof. There is no such thing as a hail proof roof.  UL2218 is the standard by which all manufacturers must meet to classify their shingle as a Class 4 shingle. The test involves repeatedly dropping a 2 inch steel ball from 20 feet onto the shingle.

The trend for insurance companies is to disallow the replacement of a Class 4 roof if they can determine the hail damage is cosmetic. This is a new trend and the precedent is still being set. You need to be aware of this when making your decision on whether or not to upgrade to a Class 4 roof.

Will my insurance go up if I file a claim?

Normally, there is not a direct correlation between your filing a weather related property claim and in increase in insurance premiums. On a rare occasion, an insurance company or underwriter may see otherwise. Your insurance premiums will likely go up whether you file a claim or not. All of ours will. Typically we see a small increase in a geographic area after a catastrophic storm or fire. Logically, insurance carriers will have to raise rates across the board to offset the heavy losses in other parts of the country. Hurricane Sandy is one example of historic losses. That is the nature of how the insurance industry works. We all share the risks.
\

Do you work with my insurance company?

Absolutely! We have a good understanding of what insurance adjusters and claim handlers are needing to adequately serve our mutual clients. Each company has their own way of handling claims, and we stay abreast of those policies and policy changes. While keeping our clients’ interest in mind, we work respectfully and efficiently with all insurance companies. We provide the invoices and codes needed for each claim in the proper method and timing that facilitates a smooth claims process. There are multiple agents that refer their clients to us for that very reason. We have installed roofs for insurance adjusters because they are familiar with our process and standard of quality.
\

Do you chase storms?

No, we do not. Everyone that works within our company is committed to serving our Colorado neighbors. Our families are here and we avoid having a divided interest by trying to serve multiple cities and states. What does this mean for you? We will be present physically to prioritize your needs. We focus on installing the best roofs for our unique environment in Colorado Springs, Monument, Larkspur, Castle Rock and the Denver Metro and the surrounding Front Range Areas. We give back to our community and keep a permanent presence here, before and after the storms.
\

How long have you been in business?

We relocated our office to the Front Range in 2009. We began serving our clients as a Denver roofing contractor and a Colorado Springs roofing contractor after moving our family here and building a solid team of intuitive, hard working men and women. We started the business in 1990 but fell in love with the beauty of Colorado years ago. Like many others, we have found it to be a great place to live and work and look forward to many more years of serving our community.
\

Do you have your own roofing crews?

We are very particular about who we allow to work on your roof. Many of our installers have been with us for years. They are trained and certified to build the roofs to the high standards we maintain. When we hire a new roofing crew, they must go through a scrutinizing interview process and are retrained in the Integrity Roofing System before they are considered ready to replace one of our clients’ roofs.
\

Does your company have adequate insurance?

We are fully insured for your protection as well as ours. Integrity Roofing and Painting, LLC has a workers compensation policy, general liability and auto insurance for our company in which all limits exceed what is required by the governing municipalities. Some cities allow for waivers, so this is a great question to ask anyone who works on your home.
\

Do I need Ice and Water Shield?

All roofs in our area have ice and water shield on them, or they should. Depending on the elevation of your home, you may need additional rows of ice and water shield on the eaves. Each governing municipality has their own building codes addressing the amount of ice and water shield that is required, but 7000 feet is generally the elevation in which additional ice and water are required on the eaves. Integrity Roofing and Painting, LLC is very familiar with the local building codes and will use the correct amount of ice and water shield on your roof.
\

Are you familiar with the local building codes where I live?

Yes. We stay up to date with building code requirements for each building department in the Front Range and build accordingly. In fact, we meet and exceed local building codes in our roof installations. Codes mandate the minimum. We are not satisfied with the minimum. Talk to your Integrity Roofing and Painting, LLC Project Manager about the specifics in your governing municipality for more information. In fact, most insurance companies require additional documentation to approve and fund code upgrades. We frequently provide copies of the appropriate codes to our clients’ insurance companies to ensure they receive the coverage in which they are entitled.
\

Who pays my insurance deductible?

The short answer and only legal answer is… You do. This is your copay towards the insurance claim. You determine this amount when you purchase your insurance policy. Most of our neighbors have chosen $1000 as their deductible. Some companies are moving to a 1% deductible which is standard in other areas. For more information on deductibles, click here: What is an Insurance Deductible?
\

Am I really committing insurance fraud if I allow a contractor to cover my deductible?

Yes. There are many schemes by roofing companies to cover deductibles and claim they are not. We have seen fake loans, sign credits, even bandit signs advertising free roofs. This has always been considered insurance fraud. Every insurance claim summary addresses this to the insureds directly. The only way to fully recover depreciation when a roofing company offers to pay your deductible is to lie to the insurance company and submit fraudulent invoices. The Colorado Senate clearly established the illegality of this when they adopted into law what has been commonly known as Senate Bill 38. All roofing companies in Colorado Springs and roofers in Denver are familiar with this law. It is illegal for us to offer to pay or cover your deductible. If a contractor presents a clever way to avoid paying your deductible, they are knowingly involving you in insurance fraud. Please take the time to read the law for yourself and make an educated decision. Click here to view Senate Bill 38.

Our house was hit by hail in June of 2023. My in-laws had used Integrity Roofing and had a great experience so they recommended we do the same. We are so thankful we did. Troy Richert was wonderful to work with. He helped answer all … More of my questions and was always willing to go find out more information if I needed it. When our insurance was being difficult, Integrity Roofing made sure we had any information we needed and were great about following up with us as we waited on adjusters. Their repair and installation teams were thorough, courteous and prompt. Integrity Roofing was helpful and completed the work to our satisfaction. Thank you!

I have used Integrity Roofing three times this past year. I had a leaky skylight they fixed and then a few months later we had terrific hail damage and they replaced the roof on our home as well as a rental property we were looking to … More sell. The pricing always seemed fair. They worked with our insurance company and actually joined the insurance inspector on the roofs to jointly inspect the damage and come to a consensus. They got the work done quickly and handled all the paperwork as well. We had gutter damage and they handled that as well as painted our entire home. Carter and Andi were my main contacts and they were always easy to work with keep me informed of all the steps along the way. I would recommend them and this company to anyone.
